"Between Here and Wherever" is a phrase that refers to the feeling of being in a liminal space, between one’s current reality and future possibilities.
My photographs aim to explore this concept and give a visual representation of the beauty and complexity of the human experience associated with the in-between spaces, whether it be a physical in-between space, an emotional in-between space, or a journey of self-discovery. I capture images of people, places, concepts, emotions, and spaces that are associated with the idea of self-reflection and the gap between where one is and where one may be.
Through this project, I hope to encourage viewers to question their own perceptions of being in-between while being grounded in reality, and to consider the idea that the in-between spaces can be just as important, if not more important, than the destination itself."
